My short stories will hopefully give you a little bit of insight into my creative thinking! Here are a few tales that will show you more thoroughly what I like to write about!
This was one of my recurring fantasies while I was a teenager. I was so fascinated by the idea of waking up in a town all alone and finding everything to be out of place. I have barely scratched the surface with this story - I feel like it is a great introduction though. Some readers might feel like this story is similar to Silent Hill, well you'd be on to something. I saw a clip when one of the characters, Harry Mason, wakes up in a diner. I felt like that was a great introduction and I decided to run with it there.
This was one of my earliest attempts at writing. It was about November 1999 when I finished it - I was only 15 and felt like I could start my writing adventures. There were/are a lot of typos and errors, but for a 15-year-old kid, I think it's pretty good. This is the story of a man going on vacation just before the millennium to avoid the frenzied masses during the Y2K scare. When he gets to his remote cabin, things start to go horribly wrong.
This was a story I had started in college. I was in a creative writing class and everyone kept writing the same thing over and over; my boyfriend broke up with me. People don't get me. I'm a thug, bla bla bla. I decided to make this creative. This is the story that takes place in the future about a clan of vampire hunters. It was complete, but I later decided to add onto it.
